Year 7 And 8 Fun Day

Have you have a fun day at your school? Our year seven and eights did. After morning tea we got changed in to our P E cloths and started to walk to the bottom field ,and at the bottom field we saw room 19,20 and 21 getting ready. The teachers were in charge of the games. Most of us were excited.

We started with our teachers game. The game she was doing was when you have to flick the ball in to a hope with a fling shot It was really hard only two people got it in Miss T and Ben. Then we went to another game with Mr Harris. His game was interesting it was like walking with an egg and 3 leg race mixed together. Lepa and me got in to a final race but we didn't get a final race.

Splash! the next game was a wet game it was a game of up and under and instead of over it was side wards. The rules were you had to but the sponge in the water so it soaks up the water and pass it under your legs and side ways. At the end there was a bucket when the last person gets it he squeezes it our team won first and the blue team won the next round.

The last game was with Miss Langitopo it was really fun. It was like tag and net ball but combined together it was really, really, really fun. This time our team won all of a single game. I think this was my favorite game out of all the games that day. Then we ended the day with a water fight.

Multiple Intelligence Pie Chart

This pie chart represents my multiple intelligence results, there are lots of intelligences like bodily/kinethetics interpersonal and lots more.
My strengths are musical , interpersonal and bodily/kinethetic. I have to work on my verbal/linguistic Intelligence..

This term were learning about rugby world cup, the country that we are steadying about Namibia,Ireland,Russia and Tonga.

Design Process

Room 22 identified a problem now we are trying to modify the street with some furniture so people respect it. I really like this project because we get some cool staff in the street that we made.

before we got to make a prototype we had to do the design process the first thing we had to do was to find a problem that was that wasn't having furniture ,research on the problem. I don’t really like the thinking part,but I’m trying to get a good report.

Now we are on to making a prototype we have to measure the approximate to the actual size but smaller. Our prototype is parity practical because its a bag holder. I can visualize on the wall because it looks like so real.

Rugby League Session

On Wednesday 22 of June Room 22 had our very first league session with a person apart of the Vodafone Warriors squad (Sio Siua Takeiaho).

I really like the relays. The first thing we did was relays we had to step the cones and sprint back then the other person would go. The reason why I like it was because we got tied at the end and the last team that comes last had to do 5 pries ups. But our team mostly came last. I didn't like it but that's that.

he session we did was fun because we had a cool game curd kicking tennis.The rules were you weren't aloud to drop the ball and if the ball touches the ball the ground closes to you your out.We had three games because it was so fun, then the session came to an end.Now I cant wait tell next time we have the session.

My over all feeling of the session was that we had fun. What sport do like?

Science Road Show

On the 9 of June room 22 walked to Tamaki college because of a science road show so we have more information on creativity and more ideas for our topic bigger better faster stronger and for our design on signs. We were split in to groups of 4 so we don’t get lost. It was an incredible sight.

One of the shows experiments was about senses. The senses that they experimented with were hearing,smelling,seeking,feeling and tasting. The sense I like the most was the looking and hearing. What sense do you like out of hearing, smelling, seeking, feeling or tasting?

The best bit of the science show was the inventions because we got to try them out. I really like the Braille invention because it gave me an idea of how hard it is to read with our fingers. There were really cool ones like a huge piano that you can play with you feet and fruit perfume that really smells like fruit.
