Today was a special day today because Joshua Iosefo came to Pt England. It was special because Joshua wrote a poem Brown Brother that was really inspiring, so inspiring that it got onto Campbell live. At the end of his speech we got to ask questions. From the answers I learnt that our generation can change our stereotypes. Instead of being known as one of the dumbest cultures we could be one of the smartest cultures.
His inspiration was his grandparents especially his Grandad who he said he migrated to New Zealand in the 1950's with 6 shillings and a plastic bag.
Also Joshua wanted to be a director, directing movies based on real stories. This was inspiring because there are not that many Samoans who make movies. There were lots more questions and answers. I think I learnt a valuable lesson today to not believe the stereotypes but to go hard at your school work and to follow your dreams.

Best Night Ever!!! The Year 7 & 8's Social
This was the night were all the fun stuff happens. It was the year 7 and 8’s social and I was ready to go. I was so excited to see what my friends look like.
I was in the car ready to go to the best social i would ever go to in my life. Finally I was there and the first people I see are Matthew T,Mathew R and Kayde. But i thought I looked better.... jokes we all look good. The doors opened and we all rushed in like a animal stamped.
“What there’s not that much people here” I said . But there was hardly anyone there and it was boring then all of a sudden more and more people came and the fun started. The time flew bye as I was having fun dancing with my friend.
The first comp was a doggie comp nez took that out. Then we had two more comps azonto and gangnam. I didn't win any but i still had fun.
Then we had the meanest feed fizzy and sausage sizzle. I wasn't really hungry because I felt sick but not sick enough to stop dancing. Then we started a conga line it was really fun.

Olympic Day
On the 20th of september at school , it was no ordinary day at school it was a fun packed day of sports. We got put into teams and the teams were named after countries that were in the world cup. I was a captain of a little country named ROMANIA!!!
The first event we had to do was a murch around the court. First it was exciting then it eventually went boring because we walked for quite a long time and I wanted to play sports. Finally we got started the first event we did was basketball. It was my favorite sport event we did that whole day because everyone got a turn and everyone looked like they enjoyed themselves.
At the end of the day I think I was a Great leader for my group and i would like to lead more often. I also would like to say is that even though we lost we tried our hardest to win and we all had fun versing the other countries.
